dream after marriage

One of my trips to Bhadrachalam on boat over the river Godavari
I had been interested in travelling since my childhood. As a younger daughter of a railway employee, trains has become my comfort homes to visit new far away destinations and learn about living away from home. But travelling as a job was never known to me until I had read about the travel blogs starting a year ago. I felt surprised and fascinated. Thinking of myself doing the same made me wow, but practicality of that in my circumstances made it a far away dream. When the marriage is on cards, thinking of travelling around the world as a career was not a reality for me.
Finally, now settled in a married life for past 6 months. New person, new life, went to the other part of world to live with him, leaving my job and country. This change has been fine, life is comfortable. But excitement, fulfilment are not part of my life now. I need something more in life which can make me feel more alive.
Gone through an article in BBC travel just now, about a girl who left job to travel around world. Reading it made me think what I really want. I has studied about many careers but nothing has fascinated me so much as travelling does. Reading the articles about traveling always make me feel happy. A small dream started in my mind while thinking about these all. Can I still try this option in my life along with fulfilling my responsibilities? Can I take a month in an year of my life and travel around. I consider this as a possibility, although it needs a lot of discussions with family. But feeling that I can make this a possibility. Take care of my responsibilities along with my dreams. I am posting this as a first step towards my dream and wanting to the time it takes for the next post stating about the dream come true. :)

One of the best day's

Hello,

Today had been a exciting and fulfilling day. One those wonderful days where whole day was good and making me feel happy and excited. I really thank my gut feeling, which made this day happen. Actually i was in a dilemma whether to go to office or not for covering my work hours, but its Sunday yaar, heart is just saying to stay at home. Finally after a battle of thoughts for about 1 hour, i decided to go to office ( i thank my gut feeling for this).

Office @Sunday is one of the coolest things for me. Very calm, peaceful and relaxing, i just feel like @ home. Let me tell about my office building firstly, We have a big compound with lot of garden. Two ring shaped buildings contribute to out office with green lush filling remaining space. i have a favorite spot @ a rock surrounding by trees with all the leaves giving shade to anyone sitting on it. i love sleeping their and watching the leaves or studying novels.

After staying some time at my desk, i went out to go to my favorite spot and suddenly saw a peacock in the garden, i was so excited seeing it and to my surprise there is one more and then again one more.. Wowwww it the thing i felt at that moment and took out my mobile to take clicks. i got few clicks but not much clearly, i followed them slowly and they were escaping from me. Then 2 of them went on one side and one peacock was left on other side on rocks, with me in the between. When i was slowly climbing rock to take picture, that peacock started flying from this side to the other side. OMG, that was the first time in my life seeing a peacock flying so beautifully, luckily i got a picture too. I still remember that glorious moment. I was filled with a happiness, un explainable and so strong which stayed with me for many many days and i was happy, continuously and so positive.... Again found out that Nature is the best thing which makes me so happy and shifts my mood so completely and quickly. that day changed my life from a very low feeling to a positive and happy state, which i am very thankful for.

Dudhsagar waterfalls

Hello all,

Last month i visited Dudhsagar waterfalls with GHAC club members along with 6 of my friends. Had an awesome time is something very less to state about our experience. We started by train on friday evening @ Kachiguda. Reached Castlerock station by 2:30 pm next day(train was late). We had now 14 kms of rail trek before us in the cool climate of western ghats. Climate was just like early morning @afternoon. Greenery on both sides of track and valleys in between. Smaller waterfalls were giving us taste bites about the destination and soothing our thirst. Tunnels gave us a chance to enjoy the walk in darkness with a torch and to make all the silly noises. Huge mountains made us see how small we are.... Steep valleys showed us we are on top..
Every passing kilometer sent the excitement of nearing the awaited sight of waterfalls(also little bit of leg pains)... And i just went to trip with a wrong shoe and it almost spoiled my trip but by luck i got floaters of a friend and could just enjoy the remaining trek... Loads of luggage was also another smaller problem we had which slowed us. If you are planning to go, i recommend- less luggage more comfort. And food should be something spicy, because cool climates makes you want them more rather than biscuits.
Our guide was just the best motivator who made us think we had 3 more kms to walk when it was almost becoming dark. We were a bit worried, but when we reached the destination in just 2 kms ( he just lied to us knowingly), i was very happy that we had to walk a km less :D :D :D.

On seeing the board of dudhsagar station, all the energy came back and all senses were ready to experience the feel of waterfalls. It was almost dark (6:30pm) when we reached and from 200 m before waterfalls, we started hearing its music(songs), it just gave us a kick from inside to reach more quickly. OMG, its the only thing i can tell when i reached the place. I was actually waiting to watch what made us walk for 14 kms(we are not regular fitness guys ;) ) and here we are before it, standing on the rail track bridge and watching it. That moment, it was a dream come true. A perfect feeling where we can see the result of everything till that moment. I just sat down on the rail track and filled all my senses with it. Felt the sight of the huge waterfalls, heard the music it is playing for us, tasted the smell of water droplets wetting us, felt the cool water on our body. That was it, it was worth of everything and remember it's more worth when we do something to achieve it rather than directly flying to it. Efforts = Excitement (on achievement).

Later we all moved into our little cute tents just beside the waterfall and railway track. We were just a few feet from track and heard 3/4 trains passing so near to us during the night stay. For dinner, it was whole India come together from sambar rice to roti chutney to biryani, to bread and jam with some hot pulav in between and many good pickles. Lots of varieties brought by 24 people belonging to different parts of India. We also had great snacks during our train journey...

Night was just complete night with just darkness, except the torch in our tents. As it was cloudy, we couldn't see a single star and no other light was present. Only waterfall was visible in a dull white color but we culd feel its cool water now and then and its soothing music. On all sides, our eyes could just see the darkness, perfect darkness and silence was a great companion when we were not talking.
After a sound sleep, morning brought the brightness and noise(from all others who started having fun). With a little fresh up, we were ready to go near the bridge to have a good view of falls. When i stood on the side wall of the bridge, it was something to be experienced. Huge waterfall falling from a very good height above with a huge width covering whole of the view of my eyes, with its drizzle wetting me. When i saw down, the huge pool was white and blue with a fresh look to it and ferocious strength of the flow filed me with a little excitement. It was all greenery on all remaining parts of frame and a fog covering it like a blanket. Those few minutes, with my whole body turned towards the fall and my hands stretched, i felt the waterfall with every inch of my body, mind and soul. It's something cant be explained, but awesome...

Later we walked back to the small station of dudhsagar, boarded a train back to Londa Junction. Had our breakfast over there and spend some time shopping in that small and cool town of karnataka. Boarded our train at afternoon and reached Hyderabad by next day morning. had loads of fun during the journey- antakshari, dumbshuds, questionnaire, experiences sharing, lots of food and talk. It was end of the journey, but definitely beginning of experiences like them...

Even this moment, by closing my eyes, i can feel the moment i spent near the waterfall... Memories in heart always brings whole experience back to us...

Know thyself...

Life gives us many twists and turns. But we have to see what we really get. A passing cloud may be seen as a horse by one person, a rabbit by other's or a bird by other, its not the mistake of cloud, but its imagination of a person and his mood. But, by thinking that others see what we also see, may people create different expectations without expressions. If we cannot express our-self completely to someone, how can we expect them to react accordingly?

Believe in a higher force which is driving us. It may be god or any other thing, definitely higher than us, which knows things beyond our capability. Trusting that force gives us strength, gives us a healthy fear. It turns us towards positive field and gives us success and failures too. But, then, we can feel that those failures have some other meaning in them to get ourselves realize something.

Relations

Today had a big fight with my mom... Passive listening is the main cause... People got used to machines who act in the way they instruct. They apply the same to other people also. But people are not machines, they are persons with brain and hence cannot do the things as it is... Their own thought process comes in between and tries to suggest or give response , which is taken as opposition.

While we are listening to others if we could just listen and understand - its enough to have great relationships. The problem is we listen only till other's talk supporting us. From the point when others start talking about something else, we just start our thought process and think what to tell them to defend their idea and support ours. If we could just listen and understand their point of view, many things would change. Its not necessary to accept them or do as they like, but just listen with concentration and understand.

Many things in life have many options, they can never be single optioned. If two people have different opinions- just see then as different, not as opposite. And both should discuss and come to a medium point which should benefit both. Both have to have compromises but if it comes after understanding, it would be beautiful and happy not painful...

Runway9

Hi,

Yesterday i visited Runway9@ Kompally, Hyderabad with my Friends. Its a really rocking place to be visited with our friends. We are a batch of 8 members(Srikanth, Harish, Hari, Hazarath, Santosh, Gayathri, Swathi and Keerthi), studied at same college and now working with different software companies. Its great to meet and have some get-together's.
Plan started due to snapdeal(Thanks to snapdeal people). The deal was awesome- Rs.399 for 8 laps go-carting, shooting, archery, bungi jump and lunch/ dinner.
We started by 11 am to reach the place for lunch. Lunch was a bit upset- lesser quantities, medium quality.
Then we started our sporting thing. Firstly, we had to wait for nearly 1 hour to get our turn at go-carting. And its awesome. Its first time for 7 of us and we loved it. Actually, in the first turn itself, i bumped into the boundary and a bit hurt :(. Actually, i feared to continue, but all others were enjoying so started my car againnn... And then it was great. It took 2-3 laps to understand how to drive and maintain the track, etc. It was awesome. When you are driving, you cannot think even a second about any other thing (i loved this and thought to go for this whenever i get depressed). Need to be careful. Perfect fun with friends.

Then we went for shooting. As we are 8 members, it took 5 mins for each of us and we kept shouting and commenting while others were trying. We took video for everyone's shooting capacities ;). 5 of us made it to hit the coke and kinley bottles palced over there. Yahoooooooooo :) (i am one of them :)),

Next item was Archery, all the Rama's in boys came out :D . They felt like that but failed :)... My friend Swathi, rocked in Archery and next Srikanth did well.

Deal didn't cover skating but we got interested and took tickets for that. Skating is a good sport where you enjoy even falling down :D.... More than us, our friends will enjoy :). But such video's will be our sweetest memories in life. We had some of those :).. But it was very good to skate, feel the wheeeeeeelsssssssss

Finally we ended with Bungi jump. Actually i love to fly and thus, i was waiting to have this. And it was awesome. Sooooooooooo nice to fly. Gave all the hip hip hurry's to friends who were doing that and took some funky pics of them while they were jumping... :)

Then exit :(... But this is not the end to fun ,

The bus journey was superb, too.We got bus, which has 4 seats facing each other and as we are 8 members we got into them. Started our photo sessions. Bus was empty and gave us space to have more fun. What else friends need, tan a good place to be together, talking with each other (though we never talk- its actually, fun- filled commenting)..

Love you friends. Had a great time with you and hope we have such plans every month....... :)
